November 2018 Comics & Graphic Novels
Yoodlehoo! It’s been an age. Life has been busy. Not many dramas were watched or comic books read, but I never seemed to have time (or the inclination) to write.
Today though! I started on my latest shipment of comic books, and I had to share about a couple of things I read.
Boom Box always seems to come out with beautiful, endearing titles that I wish I could have discovered when I was younger, because I know how much little me would have loved them. Fence seems to have received lots of good reviews, and it’s even been shortlisted in the GoodReads awards, so I was pretty psyched to get my hands on it. My only complaint is that 4 issues makes MUCH too short a volume. I can’t believe how long I have to wait to read the next installment. Boo hiss boo!
The second issue of Shuri ends on such a tantalizing note –
I can’t wait to see more of Groot and Rocket Raccoon. Hopefully it continues to be well written!
:::END SPOILER ALERT:::
That’s actually as far as I’ve gotten so far with this month’s comics. I’ll be back if I come across anything else that’s particularly stellar from this shipment!
